Il Gran Premio dei Paesi Bassi, sedicesimo appuntamento del Campionato Mondiale Motocross FIM, si è disputato sul tracciato di Arnhem, caratterizzato da fondo sabbioso. Oltre trentamila appassionati hanno seguito le competizioni dalle tribune che circondano la pista olandese. Per il team MRT Racing Team Beta Factory è sceso in pista Jago Geerts (Beta RX450); il pilota belga è sceso in pista deciso a confermare i progressi mostrati nel corso della stagione. Ventitreesimo al termine delle prove libere, nelle cronometrate ha recuperato qualche posizione finendo ventesimo. Il belga in qualifica non ha avuto fortuna e dopo una buona partenza è stato costretto in rimonta per una caduta. Rimonta conclusa al diciannovesimo posto. Nella prima manche, dopo una partenza intorno alla quindicesima posizione, Jago è riuscito a risalire fino all’undicesimo posto finale. Nella seconda parte di gara ha risentito dei postumi della botta alla gamba rimediata a Uddevalla e ha calato leggermente il ritmo, finendo comunque quattordicesimo. Nella seconda manche stato in grado di migliorare il piazzamento concludendo al dodicesimo posto. Questi risultati gli hanno permesso di piazzarsi nella top ten, decimo nell’assoluta di giornata. Geerts ha mantenuto la sedicesima posizione nella classifica di campionato.
La gara di Arnhem è stato l’ultimo GP della stagione in territorio europeo: tra due settimane MRT Racing Team Beta Factory sarà impegnato nel Gran Premio della Turchia, diciassettesimo round del Campionato Mondiale Motocross FIM 2026, che verrà ospitato dal circuito di Afyon.
Jago Geerts: “Dopo un sabato difficile, oggi ho portato a termine due buone manche. Nel corso del weekend mi sono sentito sempre meglio. Dopo la caduta dello scorso fine settimana non ero al massimo della forma e ho avuto bisogno di più tempo per ingranare. Alla fine ho chiuso al decimo posto assoluto, un risultato di cui sono soddisfatto. La prossima settimana mi concentrerò sul recupero della condizione ottimale, così da essere pronto per le ultime tre gare della stagione”

The Netherlands Grand Prix, the sixteenth round of the FIM Motocross World Championship, took place at the Arnhem circuit, which is characterised by a sandy surface. Over thirty thousand fans watched the races from the stands surrounding the Dutch track. Jago Geerts (Beta RX450) took to the track for the MRT Racing Team Beta Factory; the Belgian rider was determined to build on the progress he had shown throughout the season. Twenty-third at the end of free practice, he made up a few positions in the timed practice session to finish twentieth. The Belgian had no luck in qualifying and, after a good start, was forced to fight his way back up the field following a crash. He finished the race in nineteenth place. In the first race, after starting around fifteenth position, Jago managed to fight his way back up to finish in eleventh place. In the second race, he was hampered by the after-effects of the blow to his leg sustained at Uddevalla and slowed his pace slightly, though he still finished fourteenth. In the second heat, he was able to improve his position, finishing in twelfth place. These results saw him finish in the top ten, tenth overall for the day. Geerts maintained his sixteenth position in the championship standings.
The race at Arnhem was the final GP of the season on European soil: in two weeks’ time, the MRT Racing Team Beta Factory will be competing in the Turkish Grand Prix, the seventeenth round of the 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship, which will be hosted at the Afyon circuit.
Jago Geerts: “After a difficult Saturday, I managed to complete two good heats today. I felt better and better as the weekend went on. After last weekend’s crash, I wasn’t in top form and needed a bit more time to get into my stride. In the end, I finished tenth overall, a result I’m satisfied with. Next week I’ll focus on getting back to peak condition, so I’m ready for the last three races of the season.”
