Ottima prestazione per Jago Geerts (Beta RX450) nella classe MXGP. Ventunesimo al termine delle prove libere, il belga nelle cronometrate ha migliorato il feeling con il tracciato segnando il quattordicesimo tempo. Jago ha sfruttato al meglio la posizione al cancello per scattare a ridosso della top ten in qualifica. Nel corso della gara ha rimontato parecchie posizioni chiudendo con un ottimo ottavo posto. Nelle gare titolate Geerts è stato ancora più incisivo. Nella prima ha bissato, sempre in rimonta, il risultato ottenuto in qualifica. Nella seconda ha messo a segno un’altra solida prestazione terminando nono dopo essere scattato quindicesimo al via. Piazzamenti che gli hanno permesso di terminare settimo nell’assoluta di giornata. La migliore prestazione assoluta stagionale che gli ha anche permesso anche di agguantare la quindicesima posizione nella classifica di campionato.
Con l’assenza di Alexis Fueri, ancora alle prese con l’infortunio rimediato in Portogallo, è toccato al solo Brando Rispoli (Beta RX250 2T) difendere i colori di MRT Racing Team Beta Factory nel Campionato Europeo EMX2T assegnato in prova unica a Loket. Quinto nel suo gruppo di prove cronometrate, il toscano è stato velocissimo nella prima manche disputata sabato pomeriggio. Scattato terzo, ha difeso il piazzamento fino alla bandiera a scacchi. In gara due ha centrato ancora un’ottima partenza nella prima metà di corsa ha occupato la seconda posizione. Nel finale è scivolato al terzo posto che ha mantenuto fino al traguardo. Piazzamento che gli ha permesso di chiudere sul terzo gradino del podio nell’assoluta di giornata e in campionato.Con queste ottime premesse MRT Racing Team Beta Factory si prepara ad affrontare il prossimo fine settimana il Gran Premio del Belgio, quattordicesimo round di diciannove del Campionato Mondiale Motocross FIM 2026, che sarà disputato sull’impegnativo tracciato di Lommel.
Jago Geerts: “Sono felicissimo del mio weekend a Loket. Mi sono sentito bene in sella per tutto il fine settimana e sono riuscito a terminare tra i primi dieci sia in qualifica che nelle manche titolate. Il settimo posto assoluto è una grande soddisfazione. Cercherò di mantenere questo trend anche nel GP di casa il prossimo weekend a Lommel.”
Brando Rispoli: “Sono molto contento di questo podio. Non è stato semplice perché la pista era molto impegnativa e il livello degli avversari era elevato. Questo è un risultato importante che mi sprona a fare ancora meglio nei prossimi appuntamenti con l’europeo EMX250.”

The historic Loketske Serpentiny circuit in Loket hosted the Czech Republic Grand Prix, the thirteenth round of the 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship. Jago Geerts (Beta RX450) put in an excellent performance in the MXGP class. Twenty-first at the end of free practice, the Belgian improved his feel for the track during qualifying, setting the fourteenth-fastest time. Jago made the most of his gate position to get off to a flying start, moving into the top ten in qualifying. During the race, he fought his way back up the field, finishing with an excellent eighth place. In the main races, Geerts was even more impressive. In the first race, he repeated his qualifying result, once again fighting his way up the field. In the second, he put in another solid performance, finishing ninth after starting fifteenth. These results saw him finish seventh overall for the day – his best overall performance of the season so far, which also saw him climb to fifteenth position in the championship standings.
With Alexis Fueri absent – still recovering from the injury he sustained in Portugal – it fell to Brando Rispoli (Beta RX250 2T) alone to defend the colours of the MRT Racing Team Beta Factory in the EMX2T European Championship, contested as a single round at Loket. Fifth in his qualifying group, the Tuscan rider was lightning fast in the first race held on Saturday afternoon. Starting third, he defended his position right up to the chequered flag. In race two, he got off to another excellent start and held second place for the first half of the race. In the closing stages, he slipped back to third place, which he maintained until the finish line. This result saw him finish on the third step of the podium in both the day’s overall standings and the championship standings.
Building on this excellent form, the MRT Racing Team Beta Factory is now preparing to tackle next weekend’s Belgian Grand Prix, the fourteenth of nineteen rounds in the 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship, which will take place on the challenging Lommel circuit.
Jago Geerts: “I’m absolutely delighted with my weekend at Loket. I felt good on the bike all weekend and managed to finish in the top ten in both qualifying and the main races. Seventh place overall is a great achievement. I’ll try to keep this momentum going at my home Grand Prix next weekend in Lommel.”
