Il Campionato Mondiale Motocross FIM 2026 ha avuto il suo epilogo all’Hidden Valley Motorsports Complex di Darwin, tracciato spettacolare che ha gi\u00e0 ospitato il Mondiale l’anno scorso. Nell\u2019ultimo appuntamento stagionale, il Gran Premio di Australia, MRT Racing Team Beta Factory \u00e8 sceso in pista determinato a raccogliere gli ultimi importanti punti di un’intensa annata agonistica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nelle prove del sabato, Jago Geerts (Beta RX450) si \u00e8 concentrato nel trovare il feeling con il tracciato chiudendo con il decimo tempo le libere e con l’undicesimo le cronometrate. Nella manche di qualifica il belga ha condotto una gara solida, tagliando il traguardo in nona posizione.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nelle manche titolate della domenica Jago ha confermato una buona velocit\u00e0. In gara uno, dopo essere scattato a ridosso dei primi dieci, \u00e8 stato in grado di rimontare alcune posizioni terminando nono. Piazzamento che ha replicato anche nella seconda manche e che gli ha permesso di chiudere al nono posto anche nell’assoluta di giornata. Il belga ha terminato in quattordicesima posizione nella classifica finale del campionato MXGP, al termine della sua prima stagione tra le fila di MRT Racing Team Beta Factory. Un piazzamento che premia il grande lavoro svolto dalla casa madre, dal team e dal pilota nel corso della lunga e impegnativa stagione di gare.
Jago Geerts: “Sono abbastanza soddisfatto di come ho guidato in questo weekend. In entrambe le manche ero in lotta per la settima\/ottava posizione. Sfortunatamente in gara uno sono rimasto vittima di una piccola scivolata mentre nella seconda sono uscito di pista. Sentivo comunque di andare forte e sono contento di questo risultato.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Australian Grand Prix
<\/strong>The 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship came to a close at the Hidden Valley Motorsports Complex in Darwin, a spectacular track that already hosted the World Championship last year. In the season\u2019s final round, the Australian Grand Prix, the MRT Racing Team Beta Factory took to the track determined to secure the last crucial points of an intense competitive season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Saturday\u2019s practice sessions, Jago Geerts (Beta RX450) focused on getting a feel for the track, finishing tenth in free practice and eleventh in timed practice. In the qualifying heat, the Belgian put in a solid performance, crossing the finish line in ninth place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Sunday\u2019s main races, Jago demonstrated good speed. In Race 1, after starting just outside the top ten, he was able to move up a few positions to finish ninth. He replicated this result in Race 2, which allowed him to finish ninth overall for the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Belgian finished in 14th place in the final MXGP championship standings at the end of his first season with the MRT Racing Team Beta Factory. This result recognizes the hard work put in by the manufacturer, the team, and the rider throughout the long and demanding racing season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jago Geerts: \u201cI\u2019m pretty satisfied with how I rode this weekend. In both heats, I was battling for seventh or eighth place. Unfortunately, in Race 1 I had a minor crash, and in Race 2 I went off the track. Still, I felt like I was riding strong, and I\u2019m happy with this result.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
