Beta MRT – GP Gran Bretagna – Foxhills<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dopo ventisei anni il Campionato Mondiale Motocross FIM<\/strong> \u00e8 tornato sullo storico circuito di Foxhills <\/strong>che ha ospitato il Gran Premio di  Inghilterra<\/strong>, dodicesimo round della stagione iridata 2026. Il tracciato inglese \u00e8 caratterizzato da un fondo compatto e da velocissimi saliscendi. Nella classe MXGP Jago Geerts (Beta RX450)<\/strong> nelle prove libere ha segnato il diciottesimo tempo. Nelle cronometrate il belga non \u00e8 riuscito a trovare il giro buono e ha chiuso diciannovesimo. In qualifica, costretto a schierarsi da posizione defilata, \u00e8 partito tra gli ultimi ma \u00e8 riuscito a rimontare fino alla ventesima posizione. Nella prima manche Jago \u00e8 rimasto a lungo sedicesimo ma dopo met\u00e0 gara ha subito un lieve calo e ha finito diciottesimo. Nella seconda Geerts \u00e8 partito a ridosso della top ten. Il belga ha iniziato immediatamente a recuperare.
Al decimo giro \u00e8 salito al nono posto e l’ha mantenuto fino alla bandiera scacchi; \u00e8 il miglior piazzamento di manche per Beta in questa stagione nella classe MXGP. Nella classifica di giornata Geerts ha centrato un’ottima dodicesima posizione e si \u00e8 confermato al  diciassettesimo posto in quella di campionato.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MRT Racing Team Beta Factory <\/strong>torner\u00e0 in gara il prossimo fine settimana a Loket <\/strong>nel Gran Premio della Repubblica Ceca<\/strong>, tredicesimo round di diciannove in programma nel Campionato Mondiale Motocross FIM 2026<\/strong>, che sar\u00e0 ospitato dallo storico circuito Loketske Serpentiny<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jago Geerts<\/strong>: \u201cSono molto contento del risultato della seconda manche. Sono scattato bene in partenza e ho trovato immediatamente il feeling con il tracciato. Ho chiuso nono, un buon risultato dopo una prima manche in cui non mi sono mai sentito a mio agio. Nella seconda manche la pista \u00e8 molto pi\u00f9 scavata e impegnativa. Condizioni in cui riesco ad esprimermi al meglio. Sono felice di aver terminato il fine settimana in questo modo. Mi sto allenando bene e negli ultimi mesi la mia guida \u00e8 migliorata parecchio. Anche la moto ha ricevuto alcuni aggiornamenti che l’hanno resa pi\u00f9 adatta al mio stile di guida.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After twenty-six years, the FIM Motocross World Championship<\/strong> returned to the historic Foxhills <\/strong>circuit, which hosted the British Grand Prix<\/strong>, the twelfth round of the 2026 world championship season. The British track is characterized by hard-packed terrain and fast, flowing elevation changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the MXGP <\/strong>class, Jago Geerts (Beta RX450) <\/strong>set the eighteenth-fastest time in free practice. In the timed practice session, the Belgian was struggling to put in a good lap and finished nineteenth. In qualifying, forced to start from a backmarker position, he set off among the last riders but managed to fight his way back up to twentieth place. In the first race, Jago remained in sixteenth place for a long time but suffered a slight dip in form halfway through the race and finished eighteenth. In the second race, Geerts started just outside the top ten. The Belgian immediately began to make up ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By the tenth lap, he had moved up to ninth place and held it until the chequered flag; this is Beta\u2019s best race result of the season in the MXGP class. In the day\u2019s standings, Geerts secured an excellent twelfth place and maintained his position at seventeenth in the championship standings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The MRT Racing Team Beta Factory<\/strong> will return to action next weekend at Loket <\/strong>for the Czech Republic Grand Prix<\/strong>, the thirteenth of nineteen rounds scheduled in the 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship<\/strong>, which will be hosted by the historic Loketske Serpentiny <\/strong>circuit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jago Geerts<\/strong>: \u201cI\u2019m very happy with the result in the second race. I got off to a good start and immediately found my rhythm on the track. I finished ninth, which is a good result after a first race where I never really felt comfortable. In the second race, the track was much rutted and more demanding \u2013 conditions in which I\u2019m able to perform at my best. I\u2019m happy to have ended the weekend this way. I\u2019m training well and my riding has improved a lot over the last few months. The bike has also had some updates that have made it better suited to my riding style.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
